Baobab & Banana Smoothie
Baobab & Banana Smoothie
The baobab tree is one of the most unusual and beautiful trees that I have ever seen. In African myth, the baobab has been described as an upside-down tree. According to one legend, these trees were uprooted by God and planted upside down with their roots as their branches to punish them for their vanity. Baobab fruits are found inside hard pods that hang upside-down from the trees. In a country with plenty of banana and baobab trees, this is the perfect smoothie to start your day with. And, to make life easy, don’t forget to peel the bananas before freezing.
